Austin built AllStreet after a career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, where he advised technology companies on capital raises and M&A. He kept noticing the same inefficiency in American housing — a fragmented, undercapitalized market where operational complexity was the barrier, not the opportunity.

He started buying homes himself to understand the full stack. What he found became the thesis: the hardest homes to execute were the best investments, if you had the right system. So he built one.
